Nitish Lakhman, CMgr MCMI - Manager
Nitish joined Healthwatch Barnet in January 2021 having recently lead the delivery of the person-centred Enablement Programme at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Mental Health Trust. Nitish is a Chartered Manager who has worked for both local and national charities. In his various project and programme management roles he has created a tangible impact that has improved people’s health and wellbeing. He is passionate about providing people with the tools they need to live a healthy life and ensure local people have high-quality health and social care services.
Andrea Reece - Communications and Engagement Officer
Andrea joined Inclusion Barnet in February 2020 and Healthwatch Barnet in November that year. Her background is children's publishing and literacy charities and she is passionate about reading as a force that develops empathy and enriches lives.
Sarah Mann - Peer Research Officer
Sarah has a background in policy research and communications, and recently completed a master's in Social Research. She also worked as an Expert by Experience at her local mental health trust, where she helped to co-produce the services for their transformation programme. She says, 'I strongly believe that health and care services can only meet our needs if we have a voice in the process and am excited to use my lived experience to work collaboratively with local residents. I hope to produce research that will illuminate different types of knowledge from all areas of the community, and that will help to build constructive relationships between services and service users.'
Jennifer is the Chair of the Healthwatch Barnet Advisory Board. She works as an Expert by Experience for the Care Quality Commission. She supports inspections of hospitals, care homes and domiciliary care agencies giving people who use services and their relatives a voice in the inspection process. Jennifer also is on Think Local Act Personal national co-production Advisory Group and is the Co-Chair of Inclusion Barnet.
