Stoptober is back, calling on smokers in England to join the 2.5 million others who have made attempts to quit during this successful campaign.
8.5% of adults in Barnet smoke, and smoking remains the main cause of preventable illness and premature death in our borough.
During October there will be information stalls in the borough, where smokers can stop by to get help quitting.
Stoptober offers a range of free quitting tools including the NHS Quit Smoking app, daily email support, Facebook support group, information about quitting smoking with a vape and expert support from local stop smoking services.
