Stay Well Barnet Campaign - our report

Through late winter and spring, we worked with NCL CCG to deliver a ‘Stay Well’ engagement and community campaign. Throughout the campaign, we gathered people’s experiences and concerns about local health. Our report details what you told us.

From winter into early spring, local NHS services and systems are often under more pressure than at other times of the year. Our 'Stay Well' campaign had a set of aims including sharing advice on how to stay well during the colder months through self-management, and information on how to access appropriate NHS services. We also set out to develop an understanding of the way primary care is working.

We worked with local partners including Groundwork London, Barnet Libraries, Barnet Walking Football Team, Age UK Barnet, Better Barnet, Barnet Carers, New Citizens Gateway, Colindale Communities Trust, Dementia Club UK, Mind in Barnet, New Ground Co-Housing, NW7Hub and Homestart Barnet. We were able to contact thousands of people directly and via newsletters, our website and social media.

You told us your experiences of using NHS 111, of out of hours care, walk-in centres and Accident and Emergency departments. You told us about GP services and we learned about the particular challenges facing Eastern European communities.

We publish the report here. Do have a read and let us know what you think. You can contact us by email or via the website.
