Authorised Representatives

Healthwatch Barnet has a group of Authorised Representatives who have completed their training and can undertake visits on behalf of Healthwatch Barnet.

Their role is to observe how local health and social care services are being provided, what is being done really well, identify examples of good practice and whether the needs and preferences of the community are being met. They will also document recommendations for improvement where things are not so good, or where there are gaps in provision.

Healthwatch Barnet is required by law to publish the names of its Authorised Representatives who are: Alan Shackman, Alison Wright, Derek Norman, Derrick Edgerton, Ellen Collins, Gillian Goddard, Helena Pugh, Hitesh Parmar, Jeremy Gold, Margaret Peart, Marion Kafetz, Maureen Labatto, Melvin Gamp, Monica Shackman, Janice Tausig, Linda Jackson, Nahida Syed, Stewart Block and Tina Stanton.
